Player Code of Conduct

At Football Matcher, we aim to create a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive environment for all participants. To ensure this, we ask all players to adhere to the following guidelines:

1. Respect for All: Treat all players, spectators, and officials with respect, regardless of their skill level, gender, race, or background.
2. No Overly Aggressive Play: While football is a contact sport, players should avoid overly aggressive tactics that can endanger others. Tackles should be clean, and physical altercations are strictly prohibited.
3. Stay Sober: Playing under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other substances is strictly prohibited. It not only impairs your ability but also poses a risk to others.
4. Play for Fun: Remember, this is a recreational game. While competition is natural, the primary goal is to have a good time. Avoid being overly competitive to the point where it ruins the experience for others.
5. Safety First: Do not engage in dangerous play or tactics that could harm other players. This includes slide tackles from behind, elbowing, or any other actions deemed reckless.
6. No Harmful Intent: Deliberately trying to injure or harm another player, physically or verbally, is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal from the game and potential further consequences.

By participating in a football game organised through Football Matcher, players acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to adhere to this Player Behaviour and Conduct Agreement. Failure to comply may result in removal from the game and potential exclusion from future Football Matcher events.
